The location was excellent and the reception staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was very over-priced.On the first day, we were charged the same amount for both a child and an adult. On the second day, the price was slightly reduced for my daughter. One of the waitresses was very unhelpful. The public areas of the hotel smelt of cigarette smoke.

Very impressive old fashioned Swiss hotel. Excellent service - kind and sympathetic. The three of us (me and the two kids) were very comfortable in a family room and we had dinner in the restaurant. I had an excellent steak tartare as an entree followed by a Weinershnitzel! Delicious! And with a 20 % discount and some free drinks terrific value! The kids and I highly recommend this place. And don't forget the breakfast! Fantastic! Excellent birch muesli - classic Swiss stuff done so well!
